Purple Haze: Medieval Mix
The trailer for BBC4's current Medieval Season features a nifty folk remix of Hendrix's Purple Haze, with accompanying psychedelic graphics. "Take a trip into the medieval mind" with the emphasis on trip, man.
Hiya. Remember Carluccio's programme on Scappi's recipe book? It appears that BBC4 is going to show a British analogue on May 7 as part of the Medieval Season. Yum, yum!
I'm so upset. The BBC will not let me watch Medieval Season. Why must the BBC torture me, a humble American?

ReplyDeleteFeanor, tks for the tip. I saw a trailer for it today on the Beeb.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great little cover version they used - it really caught your imagination...
ReplyDeleteI watched some of the medieval season... although I can't that any particular programme really jumped out at me...
I thought that Michael Wood's Christina: A Medieval Life was good.
ReplyDeleteDid you watch Clarissa and the King's Cookbook? Those dishes were quite mouthwatering. (And I am afraid I succumbed and blogged about the show.)
